ADHD counseling

As a mental health therapist, I take an individualized and collaborative approach, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals.

I have extensive training in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions. Additionally, I specialize in trauma-focused therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).

In my work with couples, I integrate principles from Gottman Method Couples Therapy, providing a safe, supportive space where partners can express themselves openly. I facilitate productive conversations, help identify underlying issues, and guide couples toward practical solutions that foster connection, understanding, and effective communication.

I also have a deep passion for working with individuals with ADHD across all stages of life. My approach is client-centered, focusing on recognizing and building upon each person’s strengths. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, I aim to help individuals navigate challenges, develop effective coping strategies, and unlock their full potential.

My therapeutic style is integrative, drawing from various approaches based on a client’s needs. I use CBT to challenge negative thought patterns, DBT to manage emotions and improve relationships, ACT to cultivate acceptance and mindfulness, and other mindfulness-based interventions to enhance overall awareness and presence.

I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is key to successful therapy. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and empowered. Together, we identify goals, build skills, and develop strategies for long-term well-being, including self-care and stress management.
